About The Legends
Legends are an incredible group of Hope City people who are age 55+. They are uniquely positioned to make a significant impact for Christ in the lives of others. We are committed to providing opportunities for our seniors to apply their gifts and talents in support of their family, church, and community.

Legends Walkabout

Join us for a fun and refreshing outing led by Lesley Langan! We will meet in front of King Curry restaurant in the Safeway shopping center.
Latourell Falls is a 2.3-mile loop with a 600-foot elevation gain. The waterfall is the closest to Portland of the Columbia Gorge’s great waterfalls. The green wooded area was unaffected by the 2017 Eagle Creek Fire. Lower Latourell Falls plunges 249 feet over the lip of an eroded lava flow. There is a picnic area, so if you’re so inclined, plan to pack your lunch/snack. Please bring a Senior Park pass if you have one. Contact Lesley Langan if you have questions or want to register.
Since it's a bit of a drive and gas prices are high, we ask that each passenger contribute $5 to their driver.

Get ready for an afternoon of great food, great company, and legendary memories! Join us as we gather once again for our annual Legends BBQ filled with laughter, fellowship, and fun. Whether you're a longtime attendee or joining us for the first time, this is an event you won't want to miss.
Hamburgers, hotdogs, and vegan hamburgers will be provided. This event is FREE, but please bring a dessert to share!
