About The Legends
Legends are an incredible group of Hope City people who are age 55+. They are uniquely positioned to make a significant impact for Christ in the lives of others. We are committed to providing opportunities for our seniors to apply their gifts and talents in support of their family, church, and community.

Legends Spring Lunch

Join us as we hear the incredible story of Thanh and Thu, who were born in Vietnam and immigrated to the United States in 1975 with their families. Recently celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary, they are proud parents of three adult children and a new son-in-law.
Thanh is a retired Portland police officer, having served the community for over 25 years. Thu has faithfully worked as a caseworker with ODHS Child Welfare for the past 28 years. They’ve been part of Hope City for the last 2 1/2 years and are excited seeing how God is moving in the church and community—and how they can be part of it.
As a special gift, Thanh and Thu will be preparing a delicious Vietnamese-inspired lunch for us to enjoy:
