WHAT IS ROOTED?
Find community. Grow spiritually.
Each week the Rooted material asks thought provoking questions, guides our groups in conversations, and pushes us to go deeper as we strive to see God as he really is. The beauty is, you aren’t alone in that journey.
At its core, Rooted helps us understand rhythms of following Jesus. Whether you have been following Jesus for decades, or question whether he is even real, Rooted is a safe place to learn.
For anyone, wherever you’re at.
We believe Rooted is for every living, breathing, human on this earth. Rooted is for the weary, strong, lonely, connected, seeking, found, hurting, and purposed. Rooted is for the seeker, spectator, follower, and friend of Jesus.
Whether you know Jesus and have followed him for decades, or you just accidentally found yourself reading this, Rooted is for you!
Expect the unexpected.
Weekly Gatherings — Groups meet once a week to dialogue over insights and questions prompted by the material.
Daily Reading and Reflection — Each week guides you through five days of reading and reflection. As with everything, you get out what you put in. There truly is no “wrong” way to do this, just jump in and see what happens. Come each day expecting to learn more about yourself and God.
Prayer, Serve, and Celebration Experiences — Three times during the session the group will take extra time to pray, serve, and celebrate together, all rich and rewarding experiences.
Change the way you think about community.
Rooted is a pathway to meaningful community and a way to engage and strengthen rhythms of faith.
Designed to be more than “just another curriculum,” Rooted challenges you to put to action the things you learn within community.
In addition to the daily rhythm of individual reading and reflection, you will experience prayer, service, and celebration as a group. Rooted is for everyone, regardless of background and experience. Join Rooted for a life-changing experience.

Our next session of Rooted is this coming fall. Register now!
How do I register and what does it cost?
Registration is easy! Just click the “Register” button and follow the steps. The cost is $50/person to go through the course which includes all sessions, your workbook and other materials, and our Celebration Dinner at the end. This breaks down to only $5.00 per week!
Is childcare available?
Childcare is available for children aged 3 months-5th grade with registration, and is $20 a child for the full 10 weeks (or $2 a week per child!). This cost includes a healthy snack consisting of apples, carrots and chips. If your child has dietary restrictions and is not able to partake in this menu, we ask you to pack a snack for him/her individually. Of course, please leave the peanuts/peanut butter at home.
Can my Home Community go through Rooted?
Yes! Rooted is strategically built to challenge and connect people in all walks of life, including those who are already in community. Here are some things for your group to know:
- Rooted Groups meet at the church for the 10 weeks of Rooted.
- Rooted Groups are made up of 10-15 people. If your Community Group is smaller, feel free to invite others to join, or we can prayerfully add people to the group.
- Rooted Groups are guided by a leader throughout the 10 weeks. If your Community Group has a leader we encourage them to apply to be a Rooted Leader here. During registration you simply request your leader!
Where will my Rooted group meet?
All Rooted groups meet at the church in their own classroom or space that the Rooted team reserves for you.
How will my Rooted group be chosen?
Our Rooted Team will prayerfully place people into groups. If you have a request to be with a certain person, please let us know upon registration.
What if I can't make it all 10 weeks?
We realize that Rooted is a large time commitment, but we believe it is worth it. Due to this belief, if you know you are going to miss more than 2 of the 10 meetings, we ask that you wait to register for Rooted. The ten weeks are a cumulative experience and so we ask that every participant commit to honor each other with being at every meeting.
Will food be provided during the weekly gatherings?
Though you are more than welcome to bring your own food, or even potluck with your Rooted Group, the Rooted team will not be providing food for your gatherings. This is with the exception of Launch night (refreshments and snacks) and the Celebration (full dinner).
Rooted sessions typically run three times a year: fall, winter, and spring.

Everyone needs a group to grow.
We LOVE gathering on Sunday mornings, whether it's online or in-person, but the church is so much more than a once-a-week large gathering - particularly now when our ability to meet is so limited. The church is people helping people to know, love, and follow Jesus. Our goal is to gather and grow together.
Home Communities are a space to:
- Meet in a small group
- In a safe environment, either in a trusted home or virtually (or both)
- With real people looking to grow in their faith
Each gathering offers you the opportunity to engage in meaningful, honest discussion, the sharing of scripture, and prayer.
The best way to find a Home Community is to go through Rooted, where you will develop rhythms of growth alongside those in your Rooted group— Home Communities are even often formed out of groups who go through Rooted together. Home Communities gather three seasons a year for a set number of weeks each season.
