Pray for our Students - Madi Prentice
The new year always prompts me to reflect and to look forward. It is a time to thank God for what he has done and plan and pray for what He will do in the new year. This week, we spent hours planning and praying for our Students ministry in 2024. I’m excited to see how God will work in their lives. As we move into the new year, will you pray for our middle and high school students?
Our students aren’t just the future of the church; they are the church now. Working with the students over the last six months, I’ve witnessed them caring for our church by serving kids on Sundays, writing Christmas cards for the Legends ministry, and encouraging one another. They are also showing our community the true meaning of wholeheartedly following Jesus. Our students are energetic, kind, engaged, and are proud to be a part of Hope City. I am so grateful to get to spend time with them each week, and I thank God for the ways they have grown in their relationships with Jesus this past year.
As I look forward to this year in our student ministry, there are some things I would love for you to join me in praying:
- For our students to know, love, and follow Jesus.
- For our Tuesday night Youth Group to be a place where both middle and high school students feel like they belong and can experience the love of Jesus.
- For our Hope City congregation to be encouraged by the child-like faith of our students.
- For four additional adults to step forward, willing to invest their time with our middle and high school students.
Thank you for praying for our students to have an amazing 2024.
